Episode #10 “Trees, Screaming Trees” / Album: “Sweet Oblivion” by Screaming Trees

In this episode Zach and Dave discuss the album “Sweet Oblivion” by Screaming Trees which was released on September 8, 1992, on Epic. Contrary to what Zach and Dave discuss in the episode, this was Screaming Trees’ sixth full-length album.

Dave talks about a Spin article by Mark Yarm about lead single “Nearly Lost You.”

Zach and Dave recommend you support your local record-store rather than buying from some huge corporation or online retailer.

Episode #02 “Some Err” / Album: “Above” by Mad Season

We had originally recorded a second episode that discussed the Soundgarden album “Badmotorfinger”. In light of the tragic death of Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell we have decided to re-record that episode at a later date. As a result you might notice some discrepancies in us talking about past episodes etc.

In this episode we discuss the Seattle super-group Mad Season and their one and only album “Above”.

This is of course another album with Layne Staley on vocals – we promise other vocalists will be introduced in Episode #03.
