Episode #15 “Whatever” / Album: “Nevermind” by Nirvana

In this episode Zach and Dave discuss the album “Nevermind” by Nirvana, which was released on September 24, 1991 by DGC, a subsidiary of Geffen Records.

We are joined in this episode by Caitlin White, managing editor of music at Uproxx.

Zach expresses love for Sturgill Simpson’s cover of “In Bloom”. Dave keeps quiet about this as he has never heard of the aforementioned Simpson.

Here’s a great video of Butch Vig, Nevermind’s producer, breaking down the recording of “Drain You.”

Zach and Dave recommend you support your local record-store rather than buying from some huge corporation or online retailer.
